Shōgun

Responsible for mulitple CG and DMP integration shots, I worked on this beautifully crafted TV-series. We added CG soldier crowds, set extensions, but also 2D matte paintings.

Many shots required to push the treeline further back, and this was mainly done with 2D solutions. On top of this, we added the CG extensions such as the rice fields, machinery, and people working and bowing.

In one shot, I was tasked to replace the actor's head with a different take. However, as the movement was affecting his torso, we morphed the upper part of his torso as well and blended with the backplate.
