Behind the scenes.
I am a 26-year-old professional digital artist based in Vienna, Austria.
Between 2016 and 2018, I pursued my passion for filmmaking at a film school, gaining comprehensive knowledge across various aspects of the craft. Emphasizing teamwork, effective planning, and coordination, this period significantly contributed to my personal and professional development.
Following graduation, I started to work at a viennese film-company and proceeded to work primarily in post-production. This role provided invaluable experience, including involvement in two substantial commercial projects as a production assistant.
In 2019, I undertook a focused study of Nuke under the mentorship of senior compositor Josh Parks, resulting in a high level of proficiency in Nuke compositing after nine months of dedicated learning.
Subsequently an apprenticeship at SSVFX was completed with the focus on roto & prep tasks.
In August of the same year, I joined RiseFX for the production of “Hawkeye,” a Marvel TV series. Primarily responsible for shot preparation and supporting fellow artists to meet project deadlines. This accomplishment led to my involvement in “The Last Voyage of the Demeter,” a feature film, where I undertook more complex shots requiring seamless CG integration.
My next professional endeavor led me to my work with Vast on projects such as “Asteroid City” and “The Wonderful Story of Henry Sugar”. Tasks involved retiming plates and blending them for various shots. These endeavors posed significant challenges, particularly in achieving precise reference retiming and intricate integration.
Since then, I’ve delved into diverse projects, including commercials and two TV undertakings. My appetite for challenges remains steadfast, whether tackling intricate CG shots or venturing into the realm of Unreal Engine.
Always eager to take on new challenges and continuously learn from seasoned artists, I remain committed to advancing my skills and contributing to the ever-evolving field of filmmaking.
